Property Check. Tenants are financially
responsible for any damage done to the home during your stay. If you notice any damage or anything out of the ordinary, please
contact us at (949) 830-0668 within 1 hour of your arrival. Please make sure to check to see if you have heat, electricity,and
hot water upon arrival. We perform openings where we do this for you but in a mountain community things can change fast.
Check In/Check Out. Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am unless other arrangements
have been made. Please check on the day of your arrival to see if an early check in is possible. We will
do our best to accommodate your request. No early check in’s/check out’s are available during the winter
holiday season. Amenities. Certain amenities cannot be guaranteed at the
time of arrival. Game Tables unfortunately get damaged or pieces go missing, Hot tubs unfortunately stop working,
it is a mountain home and exposed to severe temps. Power failures happen and TV/Internet stop working, especially
after storms. 95% of homes do not have land lines and cell service can be spotty at times. We
will take every necessary step to repair ammenities in a timely fashion. Credits will not be given if an ammenity is not available
for use. Booking and Cancellation Policy. A security/damage deposit is
due at time of booking. You may cancel your reservation up to 30 days prior to your reservation with a 10% penalty.
No refunds will be made for cancellations less than 30 days of your arrival date, unless the cabin can be rented. NO
REFUNDS FOR UNUSED NIGHTS. Refunds are not given due to road closures. Eary checkouts will
not be issued a credit. Reservations made online may be canceled if they do not meet the Big
Bear Lake Code requirements. Other Fees. Taxes on Rental; Processing fee
varies; Cleaning fees, vrbo and airbnb fees Snow Removal. Plows only come out once 4 to 6 inches
of snow falls. You may arrive at the home and the driveway may not be plowed. We are at the mercy of the Snow Removal
Company's Schedules. Every home does have at least one shovel. City Plows will also inadvertently create berms
in front of driveways. If snow has fallen the day before you arrive there should not be a problem. Problems arise
when snow fall occurs the day of check ins or during your stay. During your stay, you the tenant are responsible at
your cost/time to remove snow. We will do whatever we can to help facilitate the process of snow removal. Items Left
Behind. If you leave a personal item behind, there will be a $25.00 charge to pick up the item(s) and an additional
charge for postage. Be sure to carefully check for your belongings before you leave. Upon
Departure 1. Please turn all lights
and fans off inside and outside 2. Remove all trash inside and outside (extra
fee will apply if trash is left at the property) 3. Wash all dishes and put a
way (extra fee will apply if cleaners find dirty dishes) 4. During
colder months put thermostat down to 55 degrees upon departure 5. Stack Patio Furniture
Chairs and Clean and put Cover on BBQ. Make sure propane is put in off position 6. Lock
all doors and windows and use wood stops 7. Do not leave any perishables in refrigerator
(extra fee will apply even for unused new grocery items) |
